On 20–21 April 2026, the TANGO consortium gathered online for the M30 Plenary Meeting, marking an important moment to review the project’s progress and prepare the next phase of activities.

Over two days, partners exchanged updates on the scientific, technical and organisational work carried out across the project. The discussions began with an overview of the current state of the project and a reflection on the progress achieved during the first 30 months.

The technical sessions focused on some of the project’s central themes, including cognitive computational synergy, human–machine interaction in the age of agentic AI, and the evolution of the TANGO ecosystem from core technologies towards concrete applications and case studies.

A substantial part of the meeting was dedicated to the project’s case studies. Partners reviewed the current status of software development, discussed the TANGO technologies and methodologies to be integrated in each use case, and defined the next steps for the upcoming trial activities. Through dedicated breakout sessions, each case study team worked on a detailed implementation roadmap, including milestones and timelines for the coming months.

The second day of the plenary addressed project management and future impact. Partners discussed data and financial management, explored opportunities for networking and community building, and reviewed the project’s exploitation strategy to maximise the long-term impact of TANGO beyond the project lifetime.

The meeting concluded with the General Assembly, where partners confirmed their shared commitment to continue advancing trustworthy, human-centred and data-driven AI in Europe.

The consortium would like to thank all partners for their active participation and valuable contributions throughout the meeting.
