The TANGO Project partners at the University of Pisa are pleased to announce the 5th International Workshop on “Imagining the AI Landscape after the AI Act: Bridging Innovation and Regulation” (IAIL 2026), which will take place in Brussels, Belgium, on 7 July 2026, in conjunction with the 5th International Conference on Hybrid Human-Artificial Intelligence (HHAI 2026).

The workshop will bring together scholars, technologists and policymakers to discuss the evolving European regulatory landscape for Artificial Intelligence, including challenges related to implementation, generative AI, transparency, data access, and the balance between regulation and innovation.

Researchers and practitioners working at the intersection of AI, law, ethics and human-computer interaction are warmly encouraged to contribute. The paper submission deadline is 1 May 2026, with acceptance notifications scheduled for 29 May 2026.
