We are pleased to invite you to the webinar “From Command to Collaboration: Reimagining the Human–AI Relationship”, which will explore how artificial intelligence is evolving from systems we command to partners we collaborate with.
As AI becomes increasingly embedded in real-world environments, a central challenge for Europe is ensuring that these systems are trustworthy, human-centric, aligned with societal values, and ready for deployment at scale. This joint webinar, organised by the Horizon Europe projects TANGO, AI4REALNET, THEMIS 5.0, HumAIne, and PEER AI, will examine how collaborative and trustworthy AI is being designed, assessed, and implemented across diverse application domains.
The discussion will focus on key issues such as the transition from control-based AI to collaborative paradigms, the operationalisation of trustworthy AI principles, and the translation of EU research results into usable and deployable systems. Particular attention will also be given to how AI can support human judgment, agency, and oversight in complex decision-making contexts.
The session will feature short expert interventions followed by an open and interactive discussion, bringing together perspectives from leading European research initiatives.
Confirmed speakers include Dimitris Apostolou (ICCS), Toni Wäfler (FHNW), Andrea Passerini (University of Trento), Vrettos Moulos (University of Piraeus Research Center), and George Manias (Tilburg University).
The webinar will take place on 28 January 2026 at 11:00 CET and will be held online. Participation is free of charge.
This event is particularly relevant for researchers, policymakers, innovators, and practitioners interested in advancing human-centric and trustworthy AI in Europe.
