The TANGO consortium gathered in Darmstadt, Germany, on 20–21 October 2025, for its M24 Plenary Meeting, hosted by Technische Universität Darmstadt. Over two intensive days, project partners reviewed progress, aligned on strategic objectives, and advanced joint efforts towards innovative, trusted AI and data-driven technologies for sustainable, high-performance computing in Europe.
Day 1 – Reviewing Progress and Driving Technical Integration
The first day focused on comprehensive updates across Work Packages 1–3, highlighting recent achievements in cognitive computational synergy and ongoing work to translate scientific advances into practical case studies.
Through a series of interactive working and breakout sessions, partners collaborated on refining algorithms, ecosystem integration, and case study designs, setting a strong foundation for future implementation within the TANGO framework.
Day 2 – Strategic Coordination and Community Building
The second day centred on strategic coordination and strengthening collaboration across the consortium.
Key sessions included:
-
ISAC Meeting – An open discussion among all partners on project progress and strategic direction.
-
Management Session (Università di Trento) – Focused on upcoming milestones, deliverables, and preparation for the next review.
-
Working Session (Carr Communications) – Dedicated to networking and community building, reinforcing engagement within the TANGO ecosystem and with external stakeholders.
Informal exchanges – fuelled by pretzels, coffee, and cake – further enriched discussions and strengthened the consortium’s sense of community and shared purpose.
Looking Ahead
As the TANGO Project moves forward, partners remain committed to advancing energy-efficient, trustworthy, and human-centric computing in line with European priorities under Horizon Europe.
The meeting in Darmstadt reinforced not only the project’s technical progress but also its collaborative spirit – essential to delivering impactful results for Europe’s next generation of computing technologies.
