June 3rd, as a part of AVI 2024 – International Conference on Advanced Visual Interfaces conference, TANGO Project partners Swansea University and Università di Pisa organised a SYNERGY Workshop on Designing and Building Hybrid Human–AI Systems.

In this workshop, the organizers brought together researchers working in, or intending to work in, this new and rich area. Experts with experience in designing intelligent systems, working on synergistic systems using non-AI technology, understanding human-human collaboration, and those simply interested and excited by the potential opportunities for radically new interactions gathered for the event.

The participants had the opportunity to exchange innovative ideas, opening new perspectives and insights for our future work together.
